OUR STORY

As pet lovers, we felt there was a need to offer cremation as an alternative to traditional burial. We know how difficult the grieving process can be - having been through it several times ourselves. It never gets easier. Our pets are a part of our family and deserve to be treated with respect.

While at your vet’s office, please ask for Family Pet Cremation Centers. We will pick up your pet at your Vet Clinic and they will be returned ASAP. You may also call us directly and let us know of your wishes.

If your pet is left with your vet for cremation, please request our services. We are the ONLY pet cremation center north of Cadillac and East of the Kalkaska area. Others advertise in this area, but are located downstate and do not give you same-day service. We invite you and your family to visit our center, take a tour and meet the team. All of our team members are well trained.

Our team welcomes the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver the best service possible during this difficult time. For every private cremation we provide, we make a donation in your pet’s name to your local animal shelter, Friends For Life of Otsego County Inc or a K-9 unit in Northern Michigan. We have also donated to many EMS units by purchasing oxygen mask kits for pets. Your pet will leave a legacy in the community in addition to the memories you cherish.

MEET OUR TEAM

At Family Pet Cremation Centers, we treat every family member we meet with love and compassion. We do our best to help you with your family members passing. We are here for you to answer any questions you might have. We love hearing your pet stories and so do our “greeters.” They are the best listeners and secret keepers. All of our greeters are adopted.
